About Acuícola Paraíso
Acuícola Paraíso, presents a general profile of corporate organization in the aquaculture and collateral industry of biological remediation of wastewater used from aquaculture production, referred to as "bio-ponds".
Its corporate purpose is defined based on shrimp and mollusk aquaculture integrated by means of intellectual property technologies that allow the biological remediation of wastewater effluents from technified aquaculture activity through the implementation of biotechnological processes.
The strategy to develop the technical aquaculture sector is based on an integration plan for its use, with added value of the products and by-products derived from integrated shrimp and bivalve mollusc cultures installed in the northwestern region of Mexico through the use of the concentration of microalgae in recirculation ponds of discharged effluents.

Mission
Promote the generation of productive aquaculture technological development to encourage a more sustainable industry in the western coastal zone of Mexico and characterize ourselves as a socially and environmentally responsible company.

Objective of the organization
Develop the first technical aquaculture facility for the production and commercialization of shrimp and bivalve molluscs in an "Eco-Intensive" way to document the productivity parameters. Using the products and by-products of biological remediation of the nutrients contained in wastewater, through the application of phycotechnological methods and practices and confirming the environmental impact of the Projects.
Sustainable aquaculture development on the Gulf of California coast is not a new concept.
The need to mediate environmental impact was identified first during the 1980’s. Since then, coastal aquaculture industry has only observed the option since implementation means capital expenditures that add to investment and production costs.
A few select industry producers evaluated sustainable development as marketing tool for countering international claims of the adverse environmental impact from coastal facilities.
Today sustainable aquaculture enterprises are gaining momentum in North American seafood markets, as regulators demand more stringent control over the issues of environmental impact.
The obligation of managing aquaculture productivity with stringent environment enforcement is a reality destined to force order where there is limited commitment to sustainable practices.
Acuícola Paraiso has developed specific technologies for mediating the impact of aquaculture development in the Gulf of California coastal zone.
